The MongoDB hackathon present an entirely new set of exciting challenges. The main objective was to use as many Mongo products as creatively as possible. This meant our project could essentially be about anything, while creatively freeing, the overwhelming amount of options made it more difficult to come up with an idea. After hours of deliberation, we decided on exoplanets.

Whether it's climate change, war, or asteroids, humanity is at risk of extinction. For years, scientist and amateur scientists alike have kept track of earth like exoplanets in the event that we should need to migrate away from earth.
